On 7 April 2025, the Ministry of Finance reopened an issue of 3-year Government Securities (GS) which had been launched at the auction held on 20 January 2025. The issue is BGN-denominated, maturing on 22 January 2028, with an interest coupon of 2.75%.

The volume of the issue in circulation was increased by BGN 500 million at the auction held on 7 April 2025, reaching a nominal value of BGN 1 billion. The annual weighted average yield reported at the auction is 2.88%.

The total subscribed amount reached BGN 971.9 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.94. The spread reported as against the analogous German Bunds is 100 basis points.
