Implementing his powers in line with Article 18, paragraph 1 of the Gambling Law, the Minister of Finance appointed Ognemir Mitev as Chair of the State Committee on Gambling.

Mr. Ognemir Mitev is an official of the Ministry of Finance and of the State Committee on Gambling for many years. In the period 2000-2011 he took expert positions at the General Gambling Control Directorate of the Ministry of Finance and a management position at the State Committee on Gambling.

He has an economic background and has specialized in Economics and Organisation of Domestic Trade. He is fluent in English and Russian.
