The increase of pensions as of 1 April will happen. The money is secured and nobody should worry for the time being, we are implementing the budget, Minister of Finance in the Caretaker Government Kalin Hristov commented for the bTV Liste v Litse (Face to Face) programme. "We have an adopted by the National Assembly budget for this year. We are working under certain forecasts for the development of the economy which show that most of those will come true", the Minister of Finance said.  Hristov promised that if there were any reserves in the budget they would be used. The only way to become rich is entrepreneurship but investors do not feel secure in the overall environment, he added. It is not the State but the drop in private investment that keeps employment down. Investment expenditure were the best money spent by a government, Kalin Hristov further said and added that they generated growth. "The correct policy is to find the balance and to judge which deficit would not harm the economy", the Minister of Finance said.

"The aim is to collect the revenues and to implement the planned budget. That means that I do not intend to create institutional instability by replacing the Director of the Customs Agency or the one of the NRA. So you may rest assured that there will be continuity and stability", the new Minister of Finance said in conclusion.
