Deputy Minister of Finance Marinela Petrova honoured the most active participants on the government securities (GS) market for 2016. She did it at the traditional end-of-year meeting of the issuer with the primary dealers, which took place at the Ministry of Finance. Deputy Minister Petrova expressed gratitude to the participants for their contribution to the development of the domestic debt market as well as for their solidarity and responsible behaviour during the year.

UniCredit Bulbank AD received two honorary certificates of the Ministry of Finance - for biggest volume of acquired GS on its own account and for biggest volume of acquired GS on the market. In 2016 the bank acquired on its own account 33.64%, and respectively the total share of the market is also 33.64% of the volume of GS placed by the Ministry of Finance. The most active market participant on the account of customers this year continues to be Societe Generale Expressbank AD, which has purchased on the account of customers GS accounting for 8.95% of the total volume placed on the primary market.
