Upon an invitation extended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius, Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov will be attending the official ceremony on the country's admittance to the euro area.

The President of the European Council Donald Tusk, the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Junker and the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz are among the guests to the events on the occasion of Lithuania's launch of the Euro that will be taking place on 14 January in Vilnius.
