The IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde has congratulated Mr. Vladislav Goranov on his re-appointment as Minister of Finance.

In a congratulatory letter she wishes him success and assures that his leadership will remain critical in ensuring continued prosperity for Bulgaria by safeguarding fiscal sustainability and supporting growth and investment. Christine Lagarde also reaffirms that the International Monetary Fund is committed to the very fruitful and effective cooperation that it has enjoyed over many years with the Bulgarian authorities, as well as with him personally during his previous term as Minister of Finance.
