Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov met with the World Bank's Country Director for Central Europe and the Baltic Countries Mamta Murthi. During the meeting Minister Goranov expressed his gratitude and high opinion of the long cooperation between the two parties which was extremely beneficial to our country. The World Bank's team congratulated Minister Goranov on the success of the issue of government securities placed on the international capital markets at the end of last week.

During the discussion the two parties admired the constructive and useful dialogue expressed in the higher effectiveness and very good results achieved from Bulgaria's cooperation with the financial institution. Mamta Murthi estimated highly the development of the partnership relations and added that in the context of the future cooperation with our country the Bank would provide the expert services of its best teams in sectors important to the Bulgarian economy.
