The Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov will take part in the ECOFIN meeting to be held on 10 March 2015 in Brussels.

The European Commission will present the 2015 country reports released on 26 February which include an in-depth review of the prevention and adjustment of macroeconomic imbalances. The agenda envisages that the Presidency inform the ministers of finance of the state of play of the implementation of the Banking Union.

The meeting is expected to achieve a general approach to the Commission proposal for setting up the European Fund for Strategic Investments.

The finance ministers are also envisaged to adopt Council recommendations on the steps France should take to adjust its excessive deficit.
