Based on a proposal by the Advisory Council on Matters related to the Defense of the Bulgarian State in International Arbitration Proceedings, the Ministry of Finance, Litigation department, has started drafting general standards and rules for the tendering of legal services in arbitration proceedings.

In the drafting process, the Ministry of Finance is seeking to approach interested expert and market players for the purposes of preliminary market consultations.

In this regard, the Ministry of Finance invites all interested experts and market players to participate in the consultations.

The consultations themselves will take place in the period until 22th of February. Requests for participations are to be sent within the same period and will be processed on a rolling first come, first served basis.

The consultations will be led by Ms. Dessislava Dimitrova, acting Head of the Litigation department, pursuant to an order of the Minister of Finance.
