The Ministry of Finance has reopened an issue of 3-year Government Securities which was launched at the auction held on 15 April 2024. The issue is BGN-denominated, maturing on 17 April 2027, with an interest coupon of 3.00%.

GS of BGN 200 million were issued at the auction held on 22 July 2024, the volume in circulation thus reaching a nominal value of BGN 900 million. The weighted average annual yield at the time of reopening is 3.64%.

The total subscribed amount reached BGN 344.2 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.72. The spread reported as against the analogous German Bunds is 114 basis points. As to the participants, the biggest amount of GS was acquired by banks – 68.8%, followed by insurance companies with 14.8%, pension funds with 13.2%, contractual and guarantee funds with 3.1%, and other investors with 0.1%.
