The Ministry of Finance has reopened an issue of 6-year Government Securities which was launched at the auction held on 13 May 2024. The issue is BGN-denominated, maturing on 15 May 2030, with an interest coupon of 3.25%.

The volume of the issue in circulation was increased by BGN 200 million at the auction held on 10 June 2024, reaching a nominal value of BGN 400 million. The weighted average annual yield of the issue reopening auction is 3.54%.

The total subscribed amount reached BGN 265.2 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.33. The spread reported as against the analogous German Bunds is 100 basis points. As to the participants, the biggest amount of GS was acquired by banks – 70.2%, followed by insurance companies with 16.5%, pension funds with 10.0%, contractual and guarantee funds with 3.0%, investment intermediaries with 0.2%, and other investors with 0.1%.
