Deputy Minister of Finance Karina Karaivanova awarded the most active participants in the Bulgarian Government Securities (GS) market in 2012. That happened at the annual meeting with the primary dealers at the Ministry of Finance. She added that the sovereign debt market was the biggest segment of the Bulgarian financial market. For a third consecutive year Societe Generale Express Bank has acquired the biggest share of GS on its own behalf and on behalf of its clients or 16.27% of the approved amount. United Bulgarian Bank has acquired in 2012 the biggest amount of GS on its own behalf (8.5% of the amount issued). The results of the primary dealer selection procedure for 2013 were announced at the meeting. The Ministry of Finance has approved all those who applied in the period 11 - 14 December 2012.
