The Ministry of Finance has reopened a 3-year GS issue, which was placed on the auction held on 15.04.2024. The issue is BGN denominated, matures on 17.04.2027 and its annual interest coupon is 3.00%.

New securities to the amount of BGN 200 million were issued at the auction held on 24 June 2024, whereby the volume placed has reached a nominal value of BGN 700 million. The annual weighted average yield upon the reopening was 3.44%.

The subscribed amount totalled BGN 219.6 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.10. The recorded spread to the analogous German Bunds is 91 basis points. As regards participants, banks acquired the biggest amount of GS at the auction – 79.7%, followed by insurance companies – 8.7%, pension funds – 3%, contractual and guarantee funds – 8.4%, and other investors – 0.2%.
