The regular International Monetary Fund (IMF) Article IV mission started with an introductory meeting with the Minister of Finance Mr. Vladislav Goranov. The team headed by Mr. Jaewoo Lee will visit Bulgaria between 4 and 14 February 2020.

Issues related to the country’s economic and financial development, the policies implemented and the future prospects will be discussed during the visit. The IMF representatives will therefore have meetings with experts from the Ministry of Finance, the Bulgarian National Bank, other government institutions, the private sector and NGOs.

Traditionally, the conclusions will be presented at the end of the mission.
