The latest issue of the quarterly report “Economic Activity Indicator in Bulgaria” (EAI) was released. The EAI significantly improved in the second quarter, driven by the increase in all of the composite indicators. The composite indicator of the Eurozone moved into positive territory due to the improvement of the consumer confidence and expectations in services sector. The preliminary assessment of the EAI gives a clear indication of the improved economic activity in the country and is a prerequisite for a slight acceleration of real GDP growth.
