The Ministry of Finance has reopened a 3-year GS issue which was placed at the auction held on 15.04.2024. The issue is BGN-denominated, matures on 17.04.2027 and has an annual interest coupon of 3.00%.

The issue was increased by BGN 300 million at the auction held on 27 May 2024, reaching BGN 500 million in nominal value. The annual weighted average yield is 3.21%.

The subscribed amount totalled BGN 356.9 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.19. The recorded spread to the analogous German Bunds is 39 basis points. As regards participants, banks acquired the biggest amount of GS at the auction – 81%, followed by insurance companies – 9%, pension funds – 3%, contractual and guarantee funds – 5%, and other investors – 2%.
