The latest issue of the quarterly report “Economic Activity Indicator in Bulgaria” (EAI) was released. The EAI slightly improved in the first quarter, driven by the increase in most of the composite indicators. The composite indicator of the Eurozone also improved and turned positive in the last month of the quarter due to the positive growth in share prices and the recovery of the qualitative indicators for economic activity. Real GDP growth in Bulgaria is anticipated to remain close to the previous quarter.
