08.10.2012
The pensioners\' income is a priority for next year as for them it would be most difficult to cope by themselves because according to the system their working capacity is 100% lost, thus Deputy Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov explained the next year budget focus in an interview for Telegraph daily. According to him the provided for in the 2013 budget growth of 1.9% is realistic and backed up by higher investment and higher domestic demand. The GDP structure justifies the belief that the VAT basis is broadening and that would provide the opportunity for higher revenues next year, Goranov adds.
To a question about the idea of tax on interest earnings of individuals the Deputy Minister of Finance emphasized that at this stage no such tax was included in the draft tax laws. He explained that the correct point of view about such an idea was that interest earnings would become taxable income as any other income of individuals.
