MINISTER OF FINANCE PETAR CHOBANOV WILL PARTICIPATE IN AN INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM IN MOSCOW

Minister of Finance Petar Chobanov will participate in the VTB Capital Investment Forum "RUSSIA CALLING!" to be held in Moscow from 1 to 3 October 2013. Minister Chobanov will take part in the session "The Future of Financial system: Russia and The World" in a discussion on "Challenges for emerging economies and financial systems". Alexei Moiseev, Deputy Finance Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexey Simanovskiy, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia and Herbert Moos, CFO, VTB Bank will take also part in the session. Other topics that will be discussed at the Forum are "Economic policy of the investment-led growth model", "Russia's Transport Infrastructure: Priorities and Prospects", "Doing Business project: interim results", "The Importance of Institutional Money to the Wider Economy: Why invest in Russia?" and "New horizons of growth - how to achieve".
Among the participants in the Forum are Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Rogozin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Anton Siluanov, Finance Minister of the Russian Federation, Lenar Saphin, Minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan and others. The international investment community is represented by Lawrence Yau Lung Ho, Chairman & CEO, Melco International Development Limited, Cristina Stenbeck, Chairman of the Board of Investment AB Kinnevik, Alberto Verme, Chairman of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Banking for Citi and Alexander Zinell, Senior Vice President Global Investments & Management, Fraport AG.
More than 1800 delegates from over 60 countries took part in the 2012 Forum.
