Some of the most urgent stabilization measures taken in the first months of the Government\'s term of office have been to revive the economy and improve the business environment by returning the State in the position of a reliable and predictable partner of the businesses, Minister of Finance Petar Chobanov said on the first day of the Youth Economic Forum \"Start Business in Bulgaria\" organized by the University of National and World Economy Students Council. The Minister stressed further that the main task of the Cabinet, set up in the draft budget for next year, was to recover economic growth. It is necessary to make efforts to conform fiscal and economic policy to achieving growth, without growth fiscal stability in the medium and long term is impossible, the Finance Minister added.

In his statement Minister Chobanov presented the measures and policies of the State focused on reducing the administrative burden for the businesses and the citizens, improving the business environment and enhancing the competitiveness of the economy. The Minister of Finance was adamant that small and medium sized enterprises were in the focus and the principal subject of the stimulating measures under preparation. He assured that the Government was already directing its efforts on creating preconditions for the recovery of existing and past production and business activities and for the opening of new ones.

The main objective of the Youth Economic Forum 2013 is to enable students, young people and business representatives from all over the country to share, discuss and create ideas on leading economic issues in the country.
