A record number of projects have been approved under Operational Programme Administrative Capacity to enhance the effectiveness and improve the work of municipal administrations across the country. The grant provided under OPAC amounts to over BGN 11.5 million. Thanks to the OPAC financing, beneficiaries will be supported in the preparation of the municipal development plans for the following programming period (2014-2020) and in the introduction of effective mechanisms for monitoring and control of municipal policies. The period for implementation of the individual projects is 8 months.

These projects are included in a procedure under sub-priority 1.3. "Effective coordination and partnership in the elaboration and conducting of policies" with budget line BG051PO002/13/1.3-07. OPAC once again takes account of the exceptional interest of the applicants under this procedure with 186 calls for proposals received.
