An order of the Minister of Finance Petar Chobanov has appointed Mr. Chavdar Vassev as Deputy Director of the Bulgarian Customs Agency responsible for the General Administration.

Mr. Chavdar Vassev was born on 02.08.1954. He holds a Master\'s degree in Business Administration from the New Bulgarian University and a Master\'s degree in History from the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. He has long experience as Secretary General of the State Insurance Institute EAD (1999-2002) and of the Customs Agency (2002-2010). Prior to that, in the period 1995-1999, he had been an expert at the Central Customs Department.
