Minister of Finance Petar Chobanov gave his position to Assya Mollova, a student in Finance, Accounting and Control at the University of National and World Economy, for a day. Today\'s successors of Minister Chobanov and Mrs. Denitsa Kirova, the Head of the Minister\'s Office, under the Manager for a Day initiative are two future financial experts. The loaded programme of the Minister of Finance for a Day started with a regular meeting of the Council of Ministers. Thereafter Assya Mollova and Boyan Kraev, the Head of the Minister\'s Office for a Day, will be having business meetings with the deputy ministers and with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance.

In the afternoon Minister Mollova and Mr. Kraev together with Minister Chobanov and Mrs. Kirova will examine the work of the revenue agencies. At a meeting to be held at the national Revenue Agency both students will be made familiar with the tasks of NRA focusing on the activities performed by the new fiscal control unit. At the Bulgarian Customs Agency they will visit the customs investigation and intelligence coordination centre and will be made familiar with the outcome of the fight against drug trafficking and smuggling.
