MINISTER OF FINANCE VLADISLAV GORANOV MET WITH WORLD BANK VICE PRESIDENT FOR EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA CYRIL MULLER

Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov met with World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Muller. During the meeting they addressed the issues of the projects of the financial institution in our country, the future development of our partnership relations and the opportunities for cooperation as well as the maintenance of the constructive and active dialogue between the two parties.
Bulgaria is the first country within the European tour of Cyril Muller who took the position of World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia on 1 July 2015. During his visit to Sofia the World Bank and the government of the Republic of Bulgaria signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on partnership and support in the implementation of the European Structural and Investment Funds in Bulgaria for 2014-2020 period. The document will contribute to improving the pace and quality of EU Funds absorption through better management marks an important milestone in the longstanding cooperation between the Bank and Bulgaria.
