THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE HAS A NEW WEBSITE WITH USER-FRIENDLY WEB DESIGN
08.07.2015
Today, the new website of the Ministry of Finance was launched. It offers the users a user-friendly design. The website is developed in such a way as to adapt itself to the screen of the device and to distribute its contents according to the resolution. The essence of this technology is that the site opens on the screen of the device used so as its width to correspond to the width of the display. Active is also a new mobile version of the site designed for visitors who prefer to use the internet through their smart phones.
The website is also with a new colour design and new alignment of the menus. In addition, the front page now opens with information that previously was contained in the inner pages thus requiring many clicks of the mouse to be reached. The navigation is moved to the left, while the organisation of the inner pages is maintained.
A new separate section has been created "Drafts of Legislative Acts" that allows the users to participate in the public consultations on a draft document and to submit their opinions and proposals. The category aims to encourage the participation of citizens, businesses and the non-governmental sector in the development of policies and legislation. Moreover, the existing legislation in the Ministry of Finance domain is systematised in a new section "Legal Framework" where the documents can be found by type.
The updating of the website is provoked both by the new tendencies and the legislation adopted, as well as by the pending adoption of new legislation under which the institutions should maintain certain information in a widely accessible format. In relation to this a new button "Open Data" has been created where information about the payments in SEBRA can be found. Pending is the opening of the data "Central Register of Municipal Debt" - a new functionality connected with the initiative for provision of public information in an open format.
To facilitate users the old website will be also available until 31.07.2015 at http://old.minfin.bg/en/. The information therein will not be updated.
