THE BULGARIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK REGULAR GENERAL MEETING ELECTED A NEW SUPERVISORY BOARD

Prof. Nikolay Nenovski, Denitsa Kirova and Emil Karanikolov are the new members of Bulgarian Development Bank AD (BDB) Supervisory Board. They replace the elected last year Diana Dragneva-Ivanova, Rumen Porozhanov and Stefan Belchev. The new BDB Supervisory Board has been elected by the Regular General Meeting of the Bank. The changes take effect as of today, 17 July, with their entering into the Commercial Register.
Professor Nikolay Nenovski is one of the most distinguished Bulgarian macroeconomists, having numerous studies and publications in the monetary policy and international finances fields. He was member of the Bulgarian National Bank Governing Board. In the past year he taught at the University of Amiens, France.
Denitsa Kirova has long and proven experience as manager in the public sector. At the moment she is the Head of the Minister of Finance Cabinet. Before that she worked for 12 years with the Financial Supervision Commission in the field of investment activity supervision.
Emil Karanikolov has a degree in law and extensive experience in restructuring of public companies. He worked as legal advisor with Sofia Municipality and in 2010 he headed the Privatisation Agency.
The Minister of Finance exercises the rights of the State in the BDB capital (99.9%-owned by the Bulgarian state).
