\"The VAT will not be differentiated\", Deputy Minister of Finance Valdislav Goranov stated for \"The Chair of Truth\" of BTV Action „24/7\" program Saturday night. The measures taken against VAT fraud and turnover concealment bear results. NRA data show an increase of over BGN 1 billion in registered turnover in the first four months, Goranov added.

Deputy Minister Goranov forecasted 2012 budget implementation according to plan. The better VAT and excise duties collection also provide grounds for such forecast, he explained. According to him the budget deficit could be contained within the target of 1.3% of GDP.

The idea for more active management of the so called Silver Fund was not a priority at the moment, Goranov said and clarified that the priority now was the realization of a successful Euro Bond issue at good yield levels. He also announced the new law on gambling taxation being prepared by the Ministry of Finance. The new law will cover both on-line betting and traditional gambling.
